Goole from the M62 motorway.
Seen from the M62 motorway, the inland port of Goole on the River Ouse. The iconic spire of St John’s Church and the twin water towers, locally know as “Salt and Pepper” rise above the flat farmland. Though well inland the town remains an important port, accepting seagoing vessels via the Humber estuary.
